As the CEO of HRS, Jason leads the company's efforts in providing innovative digital health monitoring solutions and services to clinicians, caregivers, and consumers. With a focus on enhancing care delivery, his role involves driving efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation across the organization.
Since joining HRS in 2017, Jason has successfully led the company through both its Series B & C funding rounds and has steered virtually all aspects of the company's growth phases. As the former CFO, he led the company’s finance functions like strategic planning, corporate development, capital raising, accounting, and investor relations, as well as corporate functions like human resources, and legal.
Prior to joining the HRS team, Jason worked at Macquarie, a global investment bank, where he worked on domestic and cross-border debt and equity deal structuring, corporate funding and capital initiatives, and regulatory and compliance obligations. Jason started his career as a tax attorney at Deloitte working in tax consulting and M&A groups across financial service, healthcare, technology, and media industries.
Jason holds a JD from Seton Hall University School of Law and a Bachelor’s in Finance from Villanova University. He is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys cooking, skiing, camping, fishing, and spending time with his family and dog.

Jarrett Bauer is the Chairman and Co-Founder of Health Recovery Solutions (HRS).
Jarrett founded HRS in 2012 while pursuing his MBA in Healthcare Management at The Johns Hopkins University. The company’s clinical results have garnered national attention, and Jarrett has been recognized as a business leader by CNN, Fox News, the WSJ, and TIME.
Jarrett has been recognized nationally as a leader and changemaker influencing innovation in healthcare. In 2016, Jarrett was named to the Annual Forbes 30 Under 30 List, as an entrepreneur reinventing health care.
Jarrett holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Villanova University and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Management from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
Outside of work, Jarrett enjoys spending time with his brother and having fun with the HRS team.

As COO and Co-Founder, Rohan has responsibility over product, logistics, client success, and finance.
Rohan’s prior experience includes technology platform implementation and delivery roles with JP Morgan and Alas Consulting. He also served as a Transmission and Distribution Engineer at CG Power. Rohan’s core skills include technical problem solving, operationalizing, creating efficiencies within existing operations, and product and financial management.
Rohan holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, both from Villanova University.
Outside of work, Rohan enjoys playing golf, being with his family and friends, going to the beach, angel investing, and advising other start-ups.

Matt Stautberg is a seasoned finance executive, known for his strategic acumen and planning prowess, which have significantly enhanced efficiency across various organizations. His expertise as a CFO is marked by notable successes in both buy-side and sell-side M&A, underpinned by a solid foundation in corporate planning and treasury leadership. With an investment banking background, Matt excels at identifying key business drivers and projecting the impact of strategic decisions. His problem-solving reputation is complemented by his hands-on leadership style, attracting and inspiring top talent by providing the necessary resources and support.
Matt's communication skills are equally impressive, having served as a presenter and company spokesperson, adeptly managing banking and investor relationships. His journey to HRS follows tenures as CFO at Burtch Works and Valued Relationships Inc (VRI), where he helped navigate the company through the pandemic and a successful acquisition by Modivcare (MODV). His 13-year stint at Macy's in various senior finance roles further showcases his depth of experience.
A Boston College alumnus with an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, Matt resides in Cincinnati, Ohio, with his wife Shannon and their three children. Beyond the boardroom, he enjoys spending time with his family and on the golf course and has a diverse taste in music. He is also involved in the Cincinnati community, serving on several non-profit boards.

Florence Kariuki is the Chief Clinical Officer at Health Recovery Solutions (HRS), leading the company’s clinical innovation and reimbursement strategies. In this role, she leads a team that works closely with hospitals, health plans, home health agencies etc. to operationalize successful Remote Patient Monitoring and Virtual Care programs. Under her leadership, the team enables client implementation of innovative digital health programs such as Hospital at Home (or ACHaH), In-Patient Virtual Care, ED Triage and Diversion, Transitions of Care, Chronic Care Management, and many more.
Prior to joining HRS, Ms. Kariuki served in various leadership roles at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, focused on innovation of Alternative Payment Programs, Value-Based Programming (PCMH, ACO, EOC), Population Health Management, Social Determinants of Health (SDOH), Palliative Care, and Total Cost of Care Management strategies. Among other initiatives, she has led the end-to-end design and implementation of programs aiming to reduce potentially avoidable ED utilization and readmissions, increase community/home-based care, train and optimize care coordination infrastructure, and implement Episodes of Care Bundles. Ms. Kariuki supports a consumer and community centric care coordination model, built upon the tenets of the triple aim.
Ms. Kariuki is a Fellow with the New Jersey Healthcare Executive Leadership Academy (NJ HELA), sponsored by the MSNJ, NJHA, and NJAHP. She serves as a Board member with the Goals of Care Coalition of NJ (GOCCNJ), an Advisory Board Member for Change Healthcare/Prometheus Analytics, and an Alumni Board Member for Seton Hall University. She is a speaker at national conferences and a published co-author of a Graduate-Level Nursing Textbook.

Michael Gemmati is a seasoned and strategic marketing and product leader with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He is currently the Head of Marketing & Portfolio Strategy at Health Recovery Solutions (HRS), where he is responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the portfolio in North America. Prior to joining HRS, Michael held various Marketing and Product Strategy roles at Philips, a global leader in healthcare technology. He is also a United States Army veteran who worked as a healthcare professional during his service. With this combined experience, Michael has a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and the unique challenges and opportunities that it faces.
In his current role, Michael is focused on developing and executing a marketing strategy that will help HRS achieve its growth goals and execute on its mission to transform care delivery by leveraging his skills in market research, product positioning, go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, customer engagement and cross-functional collaboration. He also has experience in digital health, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and certifications on topics such as healthcare analytics, design thinking, agile project management and leadership development. Michael is a passionate advocate for using technology to improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery, staying updated on the latest trends and innovations in the sector. He currently holds two healthcare technology patents.
Michael is not only a proficient product & marketing leader, but also a supportive and inspiring colleague and mentor. He has received numerous awards and recognitions from his peers, managers and customers for his outstanding performance, creativity, communication skills and leadership qualities. As Health Recovery Solutions’ Head of Commercial Strategy, and Vice President of Value Based Care Strategy, Sudeep is responsible for driving the organization’s strategic go-to market and operational initiatives to accelerate HRS’ Growth as the Global leader in Remote Patient Monitoring. Under Sudeep’s leadership, he will lead HRS’ Business Development and Inside Sales team, HRS’ Enterprise and Strategic Sales teams, and maintain ownership over HRS’ payor and health plan, and global expansion strategy.
Sudeep brings close to a decade of experience in healthcare technology, touching all areas of the business including product, operations, and commercial strategies – focused on executing on the global mission to transform care delivery across the continuum of care. As an early employee of the HRS team, Sudeep has served as a key contributor to HRS’ success and growth, and recognition as a market leader and 4x Best in KLAS Solution for Remote Patient Monitoring. In addition to his primary responsibilities at the organization, Sudeep is also a founding member of HRS’ DEI Leadership Council, focused on inclusivity of thought and engagement.
In his spare time, Sudeep remains close to his passions – serving as a volunteer for local community organizations focused on bridging the socioeconomic gaps in the education system via a mentorship program for high-schoolers, is an investor, and operates as a strategic advisor to early-stage startups. Sudeep is an avid Hot Sauce enthusiast, a pizza aficionado, and loves the beauty of mixology and craft cocktails.
